HOW DOES SHUROO WORK?

Kangaroos hear approaching danger at a frequency level far higher than humans. A moving car emits low-frequency sound, which animals often don't perceive as dangerous, until its too late and they panic.

Night driving increases collisions between vehicles and Kangaroos, due to factors such as reduced driver vision, and kangaroos being blinded by vehicle lights. The kangaroo will then jump to the only safe spot they can see; the road visible in your headlights. 

ShuRoo is a patented technology, which creates a high frequency sound alerting Kangaroo's and other mammals of the rapidly approaching vehicle. The sound pattern is tuned to project approximately 50 metres on each side, and 400 metres ahead of the vehicle, helping create a 'cushion' of safety.

The sound is profile is tuned and pulses allowing Kangaroos to hear it despite ambient noise, in a similar fashion to the pulsing sound of emergency services vehicle sirens.
